Château de Chargé was established in 1429 near La Roche Clermault, an outlying hamlet of the French town of Chinon. It was here that very same year that the town’s most famous visitor, Joan of Arc, came to meet the King of France to obtain his support for her mission.
Château de Chargé is situated in the rolling farmland just 6km south of Chinon in France.
